What happened.
Red Bull Basement is Red Bull’s global program for student projects. Frank won the Chilean national final in Santiago and later competed in the world final, in San Francisco, in June 2026, where it placed in the world Top 40 out of 140,000 entries.
The booth showed the product running. On the screen was the report Frank returns when a session ends: the summary of the conversation, the key moments, and dimensions such as Engagement and Authority, each with the acoustic signal it is computed from and its score.
The session that produces that report runs five to ten minutes, works in the browser, and the counterpart answers in under 1.5 seconds. It can be held in native Latin American Spanish or in English.
What it means for the product.
For someone evaluating a purchase, the placing is the least of it. What matters is what was brought to that table: a product that was already running, and the same report a person gets today when they finish practicing.
What Frank brought to that table was the product running, not a mockup of what was going to exist.
What was on that screen is what Frank hands back today: summary, key moments and dimensions with their score.
That report compares each person against their own baseline, it is private, and it is not there to decide anything about anyone.
How to check it.
Red Bull runs the competition and is who confirms the result and the entries figure. The program site is the public reference; for the 2026 edition record, the direct route is to ask the Red Bull Basement organization.
